Billboard Breakdown – July 18

2. Frank Ocean – Channel Orange – 131,000 - No big surprise Frank lands at this spot. There’s been talk about this project not being as complete as Nostalgia, Ultra. Fair enough, but C.O. is a complete body of work in its own right. The transition from “Super Rich Kids” to “Pilot Jones” to “Crack Rock” is amazing.

4. Chris Brown – Fortune – 45,000 - To be as popular (and controversial) as he is these days, seeing 180K as a total number of albums sold for this is kind of shocking. Team Breezy, this is all your fault.

13. MMG – Self Made, Vol. 2 – 21,000 - This will eventually coast past 200K sold, which has to be seen as a win. All hands on deck for God Forgives, I Don’t right now though. Speaking of, the full album stream (Ross’) just landed in the inbox.

23. Flo-Rida – Wild Ones – 13,000 - I have yet to hear this album. And truthfully, I’m not sure when I will. It’ll happen though. One day. I think.

40. Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – 9,600 - She’s creeping up on 600K and currently on tour. Nicki, if you’re reading this, shoot a video for “I Am Your Leader.” The world needs a new visual from Cam’ron.

50. Drake – Take Care – 7,000 - New music, bro.

84. Waka Flocka Flame – Triple F Life – 4,900 - He’s been on a serious Twitter grind lately to get to a million followers. In the meantime, I’m going to bring Flockaveli back out for the summer.

'130. Big K.R.I.T. – Live From The Underground  - 2,900 - If we can get this to 100K, I’ll consider it a W for rap. Currently, we’re hovering around 75,000.
