North Philly Pastor Plans To Boycott Meek Mill’s “Amen” Record

It seems as if Meek Mill has a target on his back and everyone is taking turns trying to bring him down. A few weeks back it was said that he was not let into a club due to racism and now he has a pastor who’s planning to try and boycott his hit record “Amen” with Drake.

Reverend Jomo K. Johnson of North Philly’s Open Air church had a lot to say in an interview with the Philadelphia Daily News when it came to Meek’s record . Reverend Johnson also has published an e-book which goes into detail on why boycotting Meek Mill and this record will help hip hop as a whole. You can view some excerpts from the interview after the jump

“I’m a Hip-Hop fan, but I believe there is a need to really call him out and say enough is enough,” he said. “He seems to really be using the church as a backdrop and a parallel for some of the sinful things that he does.”
“As a Hip-Hop fan, I want to encourage every rap fan in Philadelphia who is a believer in Jesus Christ, to boycott Meek Mill until he acknowledges this blatant disrespect, and being resident of North Philadelphia and pastor, I revoke Meek’s ‘hood pass’ until this happens.”
